You will receive all Japanese symbols and artwork in GIF (72dpi), JPEG (300dpi) and Stencil (Outline)format. *Quick Tip of What is GIF, JPEG, Stencil and dpi? GIF = GIF format is appropriate for the image which has fewer colors and clear outlines, such as illustrations, lineal drawings and logos. GIF format covers up to 256 colors. The image with this format doesn't deteriorate after repetition of editing. Good for wabsite usage. JPEG = JPEG format is appropriate for the image which has ambiguous outlines, such as pictures. JPEG covers up to 16million and 670,000 colors. The image with JPEG format will deteriorate after repetition of editing. Good for printing. Stencil = Stencil, also known as “Outlines” or “Line drawings” are essential for getting tattoos. Stencil will be the blueprint of the design on your skin. So having clear Stencil is necessary for tattoo artists. Good for getting tattoo, custom made seal, stickers etc. dpi (dots per inch) = It is a unit of resolution and a density of the image. 100 dpi means 100 pixels in 1inch. 300 dpi has more pixels in 1 inch and 50 dpi has fewer pixels in 1 inch.
